I first achieved my professional qualification in Remedial Massage in 1996 at this time became an accredited member of the ATMS, then going onto achieve a Diploma in Naturopathy 2000 and a Bachelor of Health Science (UNE) 2002. In 2020 I completed a 500 hour post graduate training Course In Ayurvedic Medicine conveyed by Dr Amruta Athale.  I have completed extra training in Pregnancy Massage through Pregnancy Massage Australia

Having begun full-time private practice in 1999 and went onto run a successful clinic until 2010 Energised Health at Miami on the Gold Coast. At such time I moved my practice to Burleigh Heads Physiotherapy Centre, at which I commenced working closely alongside various allied health professionals including physiotherapists, dieticians, podiatrists and exercise physiologists.

In 2018 I updated my Remedial Massage qualifications to a Diploma of Remedial Massage as well as deciding to open my own purpose built clinic from which I currently practice.

Pregnancy massage is an area of special interest, as is women’s health in general. I hold a certificate in Pregnancy Massage from Pregnancy Massage Australia.  My special Pregnancy Table allows pregnant mothers to lie comfortably and face down during their massage therapy session.  Side lying can be also accommodated.

As an experienced Sports Massage Therapist, I have treated many elite athletes, including AFL Footballers, Professional Triathlon and Kayaking Olympians, Professional Cyclists and elite surf life-saving competitors. Though I also have a large clientele of “weekend warriors”, as you don’t need to be an elite competitor to benefit from massage therapy.

Massage therapy is a great form of treatment for those with back and neck pain. I have been successfully treating patients with acute and chronic spinal pain for many years.

Incorporating Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Massage, Pathology Testing Diet and Lifestyle changes into my Naturopathy practice. Special areas of interest include but are not limited to, food sensitivities, digestive disorders, women’s health, immune disorders and metabolic problems, such as type 2 diabetes.
